Born in 1973 in Izmir, he completed his secondary education in Izmir and began his architecture education at Yildiz Technical University Faculty of Architecture in 1991. During his undergraduate studies, he completed his office internship at BESET Architecture in Izmir and his construction site internship at Hamburg Harburg Technical University in Hamburg, Germany.
During his undergraduate years, he worked at the offices of Han TÜMERTEKİN, Murat SELİMOĞLU, and Yılmaz DEĞER consecutively.
Returning to Izmir in 1996, he started design and implementation work at BESET Architecture while completing his Master’s degree at Dokuz Eylül University and his Ph.D. at Izmir Institute of Technology.
After the passing of Architect Mehmet BESET, he founded BESET Architectural Studio Construction Inc. in 2016, where he continues to work.
He also holds positions in:

Furthermore, at Izmir University of Economics:
- He has taught “Strategic Design Planning” in the Industrial Design Department
- He has taught “Studio,” “Construction,” and “Environmental Control Systems” in the Architecture Department.
